Similar wind conditions to yesterday. Perfectly powered up on my 5.2 rigged
flat. Water state though was a lot more choppy and confused, which combined
with a reasonably big swell running on the outside meant it was
jump-tastic! Endless good ramps to launch off. Although I didnĀ“t pull off
any really nice big scary ones, the quantity of jumps I achieved more than
made up for it. On most of my runs out I got airtime at least 6-7 times,
somtimes more. A fair few reasonably sized jumps, one nice vertical effort,
and almost all of them landed well. Also on the runs back in I managed a
few backside jumps by carving upwind into the swell. Felt wierd jumping on
port on the way back in after having got so used to jumping on starboard.
Gybing was below par today, but thanks to my good jumping performance I
came off the water with a smile on my face again.
